aims and principles
The CAB Service aims:

to ensure that individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities or of the services available to them, or through an inability to express their needs effectively

and equally

to exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services, both locally and nationally.

We are an independent service providing free, confidential and impartial advice to everybody regardless of race, sex, disability or sexuality.

West Berkshire CAB has a 3 year Business Development Plan which informs decisions concerning the service.

The plan is structured from 4 broad ambitions:

1

to make CAB services accessible to everyone in the community

2

to achieve the highest possible quality of advice

3

to make West Berkshire CAB a vibrant and enjoyable place to work

4

to make West Berkshire CAB an efficient and cost-effective organisation.
