How does West Berks CAB represent good value for money?

This bureau helps approximately 10,000 people each year and most of the advising is done by volunteers.

We have more than 50 trained volunteer advisers who give an average total of 450 advice hours each week.

The bureau receives approximately £270,000 in funding each year, 70% of which is from West Berkshire Council.

That means that for every pound the bureau receives in funding, a further £1.04 is given freely in trained volunteer advisor time.
