Just like the people we help, our volunteer advisers come from all walks of life - students, lawyers, company directors, housewives, teachers, nurses and others. Our recent recruits have said that they wanted to get a better understanding of their local community and its needs, or that they wanted to help people without intruding. What all our volunteers have in common is a desire to 'give something back', and to work in a challenging, stimulating environment where no two days are the same.
