welcome

At West Berkshire Citizens Advice Bureau we are here to help you. Our advice is free, confidential, impartial and independent and covers a wide range of subjects.

We can work with you to sort out any debt worries or claim all the benefits you may be entitled to. We can help with housing and employment problems, or deal with queries about consumer or tax issues. We can advise on legal matters, answer questions about immigration, and we have lots of experience on family and personal matters too.

This website is not designed to give you advice, but it will tell you how we can work for you, and how you can get help from us.

 Newbury Citizens Advice Bureau

We provide advice by telephone, and in person at a number of locations across West Berkshire. You can find out where in the pages listed on the left of your screen. Unfortunately we cannot give advice by e-mail.

We also speak up for change in social policies; we can see when services and policies are failing or unjust.

We are an independent charity run by paid staff and trained volunteers, and are a qualified member of the National Citizens Advice organisation, which provides the extensive information system we use to advise clients and sets standards for advice, training, equal opportunities and accessibility in the bureau. We have also been awarded the Community Legal Service Quality Mark.
